User Interface Developer (WPF/Silverlight)

This is a great opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and a revolutionary product and set the bar high in the area of user interface for our proprietary software.

Responsibilities:
•Execution and technical direction for highly scalable and flexible user interfaces
•Continually work closely with interaction and visual designers
•Take responsibility and ownership for the quality of all deliverables
•Collaborate with the entire R&D team in effective and timely delivery of all projects
•Play the occasional game of foosball

You are:
•A developer with 2 or more years of experience in building user interfaces in any technology
•Understanding of user interface development and common UI design patterns
•Experience in applying test driven design to a user interface. Understanding of challenges and workarounds in applying TDD within environments such as WPF or Silverlight.
•Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design with at least one of C#, Java or C++
•Experience with the following technologies, tools, and languages: Silverlight or WPF, DHTML /CSS, JavaScript/Ajax.
•Experienced in building complex UI’s for a client/server environment
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Completed a post-secondary diploma or degree
•A performance/scalability enthusiast, with strong understanding of what works and what doesn’t
•Passionate about your work, and driven to produce a good user experience
