The new CCITA website re-construction team is formed thanks to a group of these volunteers: Joy Hu(lead/coordinator), Jane Jiang, Wang Jing and Merry Che. The plan is to use the open source system -Joomla to rebuild our website within about month.
- the website construction working group: Meng, Linco and Michael, plus the 4 members of the project team below. - the website construction project team: Joy (project manager), Jane, Jing, and Merry. Linco might want to join the team for some real work. The work credit will be given to the project team members who actually contribute to the project in the end. - the open source CMS tool Joomla will be used for the website. - Michael will provide the free hosting service for the new CCITA website from his company till sometime later when CCITA is able to pay for the service and CCITA will pay for the domain registration/renewal fee. - It is expected that the website can be rebuilt ASAP, and Joy will identify a workplan with a realistic timeline according to the finalized tasks and available resources. The hope is to have the website be ready in about one month. |
A meeting on the website re-construction work was held on Aug 30-2008. A website construction working group and a website construction project team were created.
